I want candy!

A day in the office with my candy stripe heels by Karen Millen. These colourful yet tasty looking pumps have brightened up my outfit with the different shades of black of course. There is a hint of spring in these heels with the splash of pink laced around the heel like a candy cane.

Spring into colour

Spring is just round the corner and bright colours are bursting from every retail corner. There is a mix of fluro, soft pastrels and citrus colours dominating clothes, shoes and accessories. I'm particularly keen on the cobalt & coral clash with a hint of gold.
Brighten up your outfit with a coloured bangle if you're not game enough to opt for a bright shirt or skirt.

It's the weekend and you want to add some basics to your denim. My favourite pick for todays weather is this georgeous Witchery modal top in terracotta colour, accessoried with the double link chain in neutral tones.

Spotted!

Alexander McQueen

Famous British Designer, Alexander McQueen has been dressing celebrities for years. I havent particularly seen McQueens designs on our shores in Sydney, until recently in Myer Sydney City where I spotted the latest spring arrival of McQueens heels. Most people would associate McQueen's designs with stars like Lady Gaga with eccentric designs, flamboyant colours and definately a unique edge to design. Here is a sneak peek of some of the latest heels currently in Myer.

I work in an office so I like to update my looks daily with a pair of different heels to inspire my look. Colours are always a good way to brighten up a dark corporate outfit, as I find myself wearing alot of charcoal and black.
My latest fave is the centrepiece black patent heels by Casadei. So classic yet versatile.

New season range - Emilio Pucci

So I was recently in Melbourne and spotted a new season range of Emilio Pucci heels in Myer. Georgeous colours and embelished with stones. I am particularly inspired by Emilio Pucci's bright colours and designs are very unique.

Here is another piece of art that I came across in Pitt St Westfield. A mix of Arthur Gallan with a seashell creation of a vest, very creative indeed.

Sweet Temptations

Spotted an edible dress in Pitt St Westfield on level 4, where several art pieces were displayed. This is a sweet creation that I couldnt go by without taking a pic of!

Splash of fluro

Ok so we are mid-winter and there are highlights and sneak previews of fluro yellow around retail stores. It gives a splash of brightness to winter, but also tries to prepare for the spring season which is only one and a half months away. I think it might be a good time to take out my Emilio Pucci kalaedescope heels to commemorate the new trend.

It's still mid year sales everywhere, with further markdowns. Working close by all the main retailers makes it extremely difficult to pass a super sale. One can always wonder by the window pane of a shop front and admire the latest seasons trends.
Karen Millen is a favourite of mine, where I secretly took some snaps of her shiny pumps currently on this seasons clearance items.

Donna Karan is an american designer who has been in the fashion domain since the 80s. It is an iconic american brand that has labels Donna Karan New York and DKNY. Australia was fortunate to have a DKNY store open in late 2010, however stockists like Myer, have the latest in handbags and shoes. Many online shoppers would opt for Net A Porter as they hold a vast range of International designer brands.

I like Donna Karan for her sleek and simple styles which dont age and are suited for all seasons.

Everywhere I seem to walk I am blinded by Sales, big colourful posters, banners and advertisements all around the city. It is mid season sale everywhere. Some of the larger sales I've come across are Myer with more than 30% off across some departments, Witchery with up to 50% and some last season items up to 60% off. When I think of winter I usually associate brown and gold tones to outfits, shoes and handbags. For the current season I snapped up a chocolate brown Coach handbag with gold trimming. This bag was purchased in Macy's New York, however I recently saw it in David Jones in Elizabeth St Sydney. I love this bag!
